Happy Christmas Eve

this is me (on the right) and my best friend in 2004, Christmas, when she came to town to visit.

About to do the last bit of shopping. Been making up for lost time this week, so it's been hectic. Work, shop, eat, sleep, blow nose. The flu is on its way out of my system, but it is sure dragging its feet.

so I better dash off now, one more gift for my husband, Mum, Dad and my doggie. (Lots of gifts for him, actually...treats and toys.)

Had a hip replacement this past summer, and it's working like a charm. I remember being in so much pain and discomfort last Christmas I could barely walk. thank you Baba.

Peace and Joy.

Saturday

Rainy and very cold in the City today. A perfect day to putter about the house, wrapping Christmas gifts, doing chores, drinking tea, knitting and waiting for the "In the Attic" Christmas special!!!!!

Hope I'll be able to see it all with a clean feed. Nevertheless, it's exciting to be a part of the "experiment"!

Been out of commission with a nasty bout of the flu the past week and a half. I haven't had so much of a little cold for the past few years. My oncologist strongly urged me to get a flu shot while at her office two months ago, so I reluctantly agreed. So good thing??!! I mean, what would've happened if I hadn't???! Have to speak to her about that.

I'll try to post more thoughtful entry(ies) soon. When I'm feeling more clear headed ...(maybe I shouldn't wait for that to happen!)

Start!

One of my favorite Jam songs, BTW.

Welcome! (I bet I could do an entire post of song titles!---maybe another time--Ed.--)

Well, now that I am here, what to say? I don't think I have anything exciting or smart to say. I must say my life is better than most of the reality shows out there ha !

If anything, it gives me a possible opportunity to communicate with other bloggers, because I enjoy reading many of the ones I've checked out that post on Rachel Fuller's blog. And Rachel inspired many of us to start blogging, including Pete Townshend, her partner and one of the biggest influences on my life.

If anything else, it will allow me to get out thoughts rolling around in my head.

so here goes................
